The work here has been made through a workshop collaboration with Plus Minus Ensemble and the MA composers. Originally this would have been a live event in Bath, leading to a performance as part of SparkFest. When the lockdown kicked in though we moved the collaboration online. Following some individual meetings with Alice, Mark and Vicky where they played through sketches in a Google Meet session, the final pieces were recorded by the trio independently, working to a click track. Mark edited these into the final recordings that you can listen to here. We are very grateful to the ensemble for finding a way to continue the project with us, and it has been an absorbing process working on the pieces with them. In addition, there is also a selection of other work by the composers produced during the year.

We hope you enjoy exploring the pieces here and also visit some of the other micro sites we’ve made to show other composition work from the last few months.
